Make A Custom Tote Bag (Pick Your Date/Time) Class - SVG Design & Heat Transfer Vinyl Cutting/Application

This is a beginner-friendly SVG design & heat transfer vinyl/application class where you will learn how to make a custom tote bag with your own logo, word/name/quote in font of choice, or basically any graphic that would look good in one solid color over black. Great for your small business, custom gift for a loved one, or to just have your new favorite tote bag!

What's included:

-All materials, equipment and software needed to create your custom tote bag. Materials included in the price of the class are one black canvas tote bag and a 12"x12" piece of heat transfer vinyl sheet in the solid color of your choice.

-We will walk you from start to finish on how to use your logo (or desired text/graphic) to design your cut file for the vinyl cutting machine, how to cut & weed heat transfer vinyl, how to prep your materials to use with a heat press, and how to use a heat press.

Class size: This is a one-on-one class.

When: You get to pick the time you'd like to take the class using our scheduling system. After purchase, go to the makerspace scheduler, select "16x20 Heat Press" (this is the machine we'll be using to make your custom stamp), and book whatever time you'd like to come in. This class takes 1 to 2 hours depending on the complexity of your design, so book the "16x20 Heat Press" for 2 hours to be safe.

Where: At our makerspace located at 2100 W Cary St #101 Richmond, VA on the corner of Rowland and Cary St in The Fan. Street parking is available along both streets. Keep an eye out for street cleaning times when parking.

What you'll need: A USB or SD card with your logo or whatever design/graphic you'd like to press onto your tote. Please make sure your design is saved in black and white and the highest quality possible (300dpi is usually good enough)! Feel free to email your logo/designs to us prior to the class so we can double check this for you. If all you want is a font with a name or quote, then we can pick this during the class.
