What machine/equipment would you like to use? (Read description if you're new to booking!)

Only book if you have already applied and been approved for an hourly or monthly membership or have paid for a one-on-one class.

How to book and things to keep in mind:

  • Select the machine/equipment you'd like to use above and hit "BOOK NOW" to start booking that machine! If you're just coming to co-work and work on your computer or tablet, select the "Just working" option.
  • The calendar will show you all the time slots available for that machine for the next two weeks. If a day is crossed out, it's either fully booked or we are closed.
  • Since we have multiples of some machines, some timeslots will show that more than one timeslot is available. For example, we have two 16x20 heat presses, so you'll usually see "2 SLOTS LEFT." If it says "1 SLOT LEFT" for a time, then someone else is using one of the 16x20 heat presses. If a time doesn't show at all, then it is because both 16x20 heat presses are being used. In this case, you would need to book the 16x20 heat press for a different time, book a different machine to work on something else, or wait to see if the original 16x20 heat press timeslot becomes available again at a later date due to someone cancelling or rescheduling.
  • Some machines like the Glowforge Laser only have one timeslot available, so know that if you book time for it, you are the only one using it during that time period. Please limit your time to machines with availabilities of 1 to no more than 2 hours straight, and only surpass 2 hours straight if you see no one is waiting to use it while you're in the makerspace.
  • If you'd like to book multiple machines for the same time period, create a separate booking, but please do this only if you are certain you can handle using both machines at once since you'll be removing that availability for others.
  • If you'd like to be in the space for more than 2 hours, then create a separate booking. There is no limit to how long you can be in the space in one day (as long as it's within makerpsace hours), but we do try to limit your time to one single machine to 2 hours increments in case someone else is waiting for it. For example, if you want to be in the makerspace for 4 consecutive hours to use the Glowforge and work, create a booking for the Glowforge for 2 hours, and create another booking for "Just working" for another 2 hours. If during your "Just working" hours no one came to use the Glowforge, only then can you continue using the Glowforge past your initial 2 hours with it.
