Make A Custom Tabletop Acrylic Business Sign (Pick Your Time - Tuesdays or Thursdays)

This is a beginner to intermediate laser cutting and sign customization class where you will learn how to cut acrylic with our Glowforge Pro and custom print clear vinyl to assemble your own tabletop business sign!

What's included:

-All materials and software needed to create your tabletop business sign including up to two acrylic sheets in your choice of colors, custom printed vinyl, plus access to our design softwares like Canva Pro and Adobe Illustrator.

-20+ acrylic sheet colors to choose from to use as accents for your sign (we also have acrylic not pictured including mirrored acrylics, black, white & clear). We'll be able to help you change aspects of the design to suit your information, socials, and can even make a custom qr codes for you during the class if you don't already have your own!

-About a 1 hour class where we will guide you from start to finish on how to prep your materials for laser cutting, how to cut and print your designs with the Glowforge and printer, and how to assemble your sign. Length of class can vary depending on the complexity of the designs chosen. 

Class size: This is a one-on-one class unless you'd like to come with a buddy. 

If you'd like to come with a buddy, purchase two classes and come together so you can make your signs at the same time!

When: This class is available any Tuesday OR Thursday, and you get to pick the time you'd like to take the class using our scheduling system. After purchase, go to the makerspace scheduler, select "Glowforge Pro" (this is the machine we'll be using to make your earring), and book whatever time you'd like to come in. This class usually takes 1 hour, so book the "Glowforge Pro" for 1 hour, but if you come with a buddy, book it for 2 hours.

Where: At our makerspace located at 2100 W Cary St #101 Richmond, VA on the corner of Rowland and Cary St in The Fan. Street parking is available along both streets.

What you'll need: Your business logo and an idea or even doodles of what you'd like your sign to have on it - this will making the design process easier during the class. If there are specific fonts you'd like to use with your logo, either let us know what font it is (if it is a free font we can download online), or bring the font files with you along with your logo on a USB. If you do not have a USB, you can email us your files prior to the class to hello@makeormaderva.com.
